Its roof is the most flashy of all the white buildings with red roofs populating the 64 hectares of the historic complex of the Servier group. The Bio-S building, in Gidy, ten kilometers north of Orléans (Loiret), is at the interior finishing stage. Rest areas and offices are awaiting development. At all levels, wait for boxes and equipment still packed. A few months of delay due to Covid-19 did not, however, deviate the trajectory of the highly strategic project.
Because these 10,000 m2 symbolize the future of the second largest French pharmaceutical laboratory. It is in this production unit of biotechnological drugs that the industrial partition of the immense bet of the therapeutic repositioning of Servier will be played. Specialist in cardio-metabolism, the laboratory is now betting for its future on oncology and immuno-inflammation, with the objective of reaching 8 billion euros in turnover in 2030, once morest 4.9 billion in the 2022 financial year.
