Same place, different time. When Credit Suisse – still Schweizerische Kreditanstalt – moves into its new Zurich premises at Paradeplatz, number 8, it is growing. We are in 1877, the bank has existed for twenty-one years, it has fifty employees and its new headquarters is a promise, that of continuing its expansion from what will become the heart of Swiss finance.
