The oppressive heat with a lot of humidity will continue to rage Thursday, due to the rise in mercury in most of Quebec, especially in the south and center of the province.
Thursday will therefore be generally warm and sunny with passing clouds in the followingnoon in Greater Montreal, where temperatures will reach 34 degrees with a Humidex of 41.
Environment Canada predicts a similar scenario for the central sectors of the province, particularly in Quebec, Estrie and Saguenay where it will be particularly hot with very humid weather.
The sky will alternate between sun and clouds with summer temperatures always accompanied by a Humidex effect in practically all of eastern Quebec, particularly in Bas-Saint-Laurent and on the North Shore.
On the other hand, certain sectors of western Quebec are likely to be an exception, since the federal agency forecasts showers with the risk of thunderstorms in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, where the mercury will not exceed 20 degrees.
For Friday, a cloudy overflow is expected in the south and center of the province, especially in Montreal, with possible showers in areas north of the St. Lawrence River, according to forecasts from the federal agency.
