The summer will be very complicated in the emergency room of Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). For a year and a half, the management of the establishment has suffered from the lack of emergency doctors, currently numbering seven out of 16 positions in total. A problem that causes many day and night closures, as well as regulations.

And it is not the summer period that will fix things since the establishment announced this Wednesday, July 5 a new salvo of day and night closures as well as regulations. The service will therefore be closed during the day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on July 13, 18, 22, 24, 26 and 27 in addition to those of July 1 and 5, its doors will be closed at night from July 17 to 31 inclusive from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. while daytime regulations will be put in place on July 17, 19, 20, 25, 28, 29, 30 and 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m..

As a reminder, night closures had already been announced from July 1 to 16 inclusive, which means that the service will not be open for a single night in July, day regulations will take place on July 6, 15 and 16 while A daytime closure will take place on July 13 in addition to those of July 1 and 5. The reception of pregnant women is maintained 24 hours a day, as well as the Smur (mobile emergency and resuscitation structure).

During the closing period, a display will be installed at the entrance to the hospital and in the emergency room recalling in particular information on addresses and distances to go to the emergencies of Digne-les-Bains, Sisteron, Pertuis and Aix- en-Provence or unscheduled treatment centres. Calling 15 is recommended before any trip in order to benefit from regulation.
