The Social Welfare Directorate of the City Council summons the general public for what will be their visual health day that they have scheduled with free eye exams for this Friday, July 7 at their facilities located on Calle González, in the Flores Guerra building .
As the head of the agency, Araceli García explained that this event is carried out in collaboration with Salud Digna and will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the support of the team of this private company and the assistance of government personnel. Municipal.
“They come to participate with free vision exams, and from there what the citizen requests they will consider how they handle it, with a discount, etc., that is already very foreign to us, what is going to be handled here is only the free eye exam, open to all citizens,” he said.
He stated that we know that they are going to favor families in a vulnerable condition and they will benefit, among which the sum of older adults and children stood out, for which he considered it important that all people who register difficulties to see well approach.
He said that for them as the Municipal Government it is a priority to maintain and strengthen the citizen approach and above all to be able to bring benefits to the most vulnerable community, as is precisely the mission of the agency, in some cases totally free and other times, like this, at low cost.
He reported that, on the same theme of social outreach programs, for Saturday, July 8, they plan to hold a day of comprehensive care to be held in the community center of the Esperanza neighborhood, where other agencies collaborate inter-institutionally with benefits to the population.
