FPÖ voted once morest the changes in the Foreigners Employment Act
Vienna (OTS) – A ruling by the Constitutional Court made it necessary to amend the Foreigners Employment Act. Specifically, it was regarding the fact that a regional advisory board had decided on the decision to employ a foreigner. This regulation was classified as constitutional. For FPÖ social spokeswoman NAbg. Dagmar Belakowitsch, the new draft passed today with a majority of votes in the National Council is a regulation in the spirit of the ÖVP: “Especially in the west of the country, the People’s Party wants to turn the traffic light for cheap labor to green for its businesses in the catering and other service sectors, while the Austrians stand at the labor market service.”
The only guideline of the ÖVP policy are the interests of their entrepreneurs. Belakovich: “The Constitutional Court has decided. But it is not the case that only the ÖVP now knows how to implement the judgment of the Constitutional Court. With the present amendment, cheap labor will come to Austria on a large scale, and they will ensure wage and social dumping, which we Liberals resolutely oppose!” The FPÖ social spokeswoman did not accept the often cited labor shortage: “We still have one Unemployment rate of seven percent. The head of the labor market service, Johannes Kopf, who is close to the ÖVP, has been managing unemployment since 2006 instead of finally doing something regarding it.”
