The man would have died following struggling for a long time with a terminal illness, a process in which Nucita was always with him.
The deceased’s daughter, Jennifer Sojo, said in an interview that the connection between the kitten and her father was so strong that they even synchronized to eat. Well, at one point during the illness, Hernán was hospitalized and if he had an appetite, so did she, otherwise, no one ate.
