Recently published in the Official Gazette of Cuba, Resolution 8/2023 updates the consular fees, following the entry into force of the new migratory measures announced by the Minrex.
The norm establishes consular rights applicable to the services provided by the Cuban consular offices and the provisions related to the Consular Fee and the procedures for its application.
In this sense, it updates the consular fees that are charged, so that they correspond to the migratory measures adopted and unifies in a single resolution all the provisions related to the Consular Fee and the procedures for its application.
According to the information in the resolution, “consular fees are charged taking into account the rates established in the Tariff, which are set in US dollars or in euros.”
The heads of Cuban diplomatic missions where there are general consulates, consulates or consular sections, diplomatic offices or interest sections, will be responsible for the correct application of the Tariff and compliance with what is established.
Therefore, heads of mission and consular officials are prohibited from increasing or decreasing the rights established in this Tariff.

CONSULAR FEES FOR IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES IN CUBAN CONSULATES
1. Registration or certification of registration in the Consular Registry (issuance of the card or certification of consular registration or its duplicate: 10 USD, 12 EUR, $20 in the US)
Passport applications: a) For the first time, renewal or loss (over 16 years, validity of 10 years): 180 (USD, EUR). b) For the first time, renewal or loss (under 16 years, validity of 5 years): 140 (USD, EUR). c) Provisional: USD 80, EUR 70, $100 in the US Travel and Transit Document Issuance: USD 80, EUR 70, $100 in the US Extension of stay abroad:
– For each month of stay abroad: 40 USD, 40 EUR, $150 in the US.
Travel extension (this amount is charged regardless of the time for which the extension is authorized): 40 USD, 40 EUR and $40 in the US Passport visas or issuance of a flying visa: 55 USD, 55 EUR, 50 in USA Tourist card: a) Blank tourist card for sale: USD 10, EUR 17, USA 50 b) Filled out by consular officer: USD 15, EUR 22, USA 50. Enabling entry to the country for Cuban citizens: a) When traveling with a foreign passport: 80 USD, 80 EUR, 130 in the US Change of migratory category: a) By applying to the consular officer: 80 (USD, EUR , In U.S.A). b) For granting the category change: 20 USD, 25 EUR or 20 in the US.
