This Wednesday marks one year since the death of Augustine Fernandez, the young student of The Pampa that came to Cipolletti to study in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Comahue and was brutally assaulted in an alleged robbery at a complex apartment in which she lived.

“My daughter mightn’t get a doctor’s degree, but she still saved lives. To you mom who thanked me that your son turned 15 years old… he not only complied, but Agus fulfilled his will. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being my daughter today and every day forever, ”he expressed in the post.

One year following the femicide, the community continues to request that the crime be resolved. Silvana Capello, Agustina’s mother, expressed: “May the sentence be worth the waiting time.”

This Wednesday, July 5 at 4:00 p.m. they will march in the city. From La Pampa around 20 people will travel to march through the streets of the city.
