The Federal Oral Court (TOF) number 7 acquitted all defendantsincluding Senator Oscar Parrilli and the former head of the Mint Katya Daurain two trials that processed simultaneously by alleged acts of corruption during the Kirchner government from 2003 to 2015.

It is a case in which the frustrated edition of books on “The won decade” and another for hiring a personal security service for Daura when he was the head of the Casa de la Moneda.

The prosecutor’s office, headed by Gabriel González Da Silva, had requested five years in prison for her and the confiscation of almost one hundred million pesos.

According to the prosecution, between March 13, 2012 and December 23, 2015, the Mint contracted a “security plan that was made up of four escrow officers who rotated day and night at Daura’s private residence, located in the province of Buenos Aires and two drivers-custodians to transport her and her family”.

For Enrici and Desmarás, the prosecutor had requested suspended prison sentences plus the confiscation of money.

All were acquitted in both processes by the same court that has been assigned to carry out the oral trial for the Cuadernos Cause.
