LH Mikl-Leitner: “Top and maximum performance that the country and the population can always rely on”
St. Pölten (OTS) – The 71st state fire service performance competitions took place this weekend in Leobersdorf in the Baden district. The award ceremony took place on Sunday, during which state governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, federal interior minister Gerhard Karner, state fire service commander Dietmar Fahrafellner and fire service president Robert Mayer congratulated the fire brigade members on their great achievements.

The competition group Scheideldorf was the winner in the competition for the silver class A fire brigade performance badge, second place went to Johannesberg 1 in front of Schlag. The FF Großharras 2 won the Silver Class A rating for women.
Trattenbach won the competition for the bronze Class A fire brigade performance badge ahead of Bischofstetten and Inning 1 in third place. Großharras 2 also secured first place in the women’s ranking.
In the fire brigade performance badge silver class B, Kottingneusiedl 2 won ahead of Wildendürrenbach 1 and Großreinprechts 1.
Weigelsdorf 2 won the competition for the fire brigade performance badge bronze class B. Here Otterthal 1 secured second place ahead of Grimmenstein-Kirchau.
Seis am Schlern won the fire service performance badge silver class A guests, bronze class A went to Neufeld.
Rohr im Kremstal won the competition for the silver class B fire brigade performance badge for guests. The guests from Rohr also won the bronze class B fire brigade performance badge.
The volunteer fire brigade Leobersdorf was presented with the honorary award for organizing the successful 71st state fire brigade performance competition.
Other representatives of the state at the award ceremony included the 2nd President of the State Parliament Gottfried Waldhäusl, SP Club Chairman Hannes Weninger, Member of the State Parliament Karin Scheele, Lower Austria State Police Director Franz Popp and District Commissioner Verena Sonnleitner. The ceremonial conclusion of the competitions was musically accompanied by the local Hirtenberg and Reisenberg bands.
