League Plus – Negotiations between Manchester United and Inter Milan did not witness much progress regarding the signing of the latter’s Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, as the Nerazzurri did not receive an official offer for the Cameroonian international from the English Premier League giants.

And Manchester United are looking for a goalkeeper in Mercato, as the current No. 1 David De Gea still has not signed a new contract, and now it seems that the Spaniard is likely to leave Old Trafford following 12 years.

Recent reports indicated that Man United began looking for other replacements if the Onana deal faltered, most notably Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bigelow and Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to the “Calcio Mercato” network, Inter Milan will not sell its goalkeeper for less than 50 million euros, in addition to another 10 million euros in additions.

A potential sale to Onana might represent a big and quick profit given the player arrived on a free last summer, but his departure might also cause a headache for Inter’s goalkeeping position.

Inter refuses to give up his guard for less than the aforementioned amount so that he can include another senior guard, especially since Samir Handanovic is 38 years old and close to leaving.

Inter are still willing to listen to offers and a sale is still very much on the cards if the right offer is made.
