The leader and vocalist of the band Ministry publicly announced that he would retire from music due to addiction problems that he had had for much of his life.
It was in 2012 when he suffered a heroin overdose that left him on the verge of death.
Eminem:
In 2009, Eminem openly addressed his fight once morest addiction and spoke regarding how it had affected his life and career. The singer reported that following suffering an overdose of pills, which he obtained through a known intermediary. That made the singer die for a few minutes.
Don Powell:
In 1973, the drummer of the rock group Slade left a party drunk and drove his Bentley in the direction of his house, but on the way he had an accident in which his girlfriend was killed on the spot.
Don Powell was taken to the hospital where he spent six days in a coma. At that moment, his heart stopped beating twice.
The doctors saw that the musician’s brain had pressure, so they drilled it.
Aaron Lazar:
The leader of The Giraffes recounted in an interview with New York Magazine in 2009 that he suffered sudden cardiac death while driving on the Manhattan Bridge in 2005.
