Liverpool have registered the arrival of Hungarian international Dominik Szoboszlai from German club Leipzig, the English club announced on Sunday. The club coached by Jürgen Klopp continues its transformation following a complicated year in the Premier League and the non-qualification for the next Champions League.
Dominik Szoboszlai, 22, had arrived in Leipzig in January 2021 from Salzburg in Austria. In two and a half seasons, the midfielder played 91 games for the Bundesliga club, compiling 20 goals and 22 assists. According to the press, the 22-year-old player (32 caps) has signed up for 5 years and the release clause paid by the Reds amounts to 70 million euros.
