Rome – The sea rescue organizations SOS Humanity, Sea Eye and Mission Lifeline, which are active in the Mediterranean, are suing Italy’s practice of assigning ports to private rescue ships that are far from the rescue area. In this way, the lives of the rescued migrants are endangered, the aid organizations criticized on Sunday and announced a lawsuit at an administrative court in Rome.
