The people of Danniyeh are awaiting the outcome of the investigations regarding the killing of two people from Bsharri in Qorna Al-Souda, which is geographically disputed between Bcharre and Danniyeh since the 1990s, as it was recorded that approximately 19 incidents took place in the region, during which dozens of people were injured and hundreds of livestock died of the Danniyeh people.

In this context, the mayor of Bekaa Sifrin, Bilal Zod, confirmed to Al-Ahed news website that the medical report approved by the military and civilian forensic doctors showed that the hypothesis of a sniping operation was ruled out, as security investigations revealed that the bullets that hit the collar entered from the top following it penetrated his stomach and settled in the thigh of his leg. This refutes the rumors that spoke of sniping operations carried out by Danniyeh.

And the information of the activities of the mayors of the Bsharri region revealed in voice messages that the second victim of the “Al-Tawq family” was killed during skirmishes and gunfire that occurred between gunmen from Bsharri who went to the Qurna Al-Sawda region following the killing of Haitham Touq and rumors spread in the region, and clashes took place near the army training center and during A military helicopter carrying out a reconnaissance mission came under fire, which prompted the army personnel to respond in kind, and one person was killed and wounded were taken to the area’s hospitals.

And while scholarly and political references seek to absorb any reactions to the accusations, placing what happened in the custody of the security forces, the statements issued by the municipality of Bcharre and some partisan activities continued to launch positions from Bcharre, which some described as populism, in an attempt to gain the support of the street and fish in troubled waters.
