The facts date back to June 20, reports the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security (OFDF) in a press release published Thursday, June 29. It is in fact a 31-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man who had just landed in Krakow, in the south of Poland.
During the routine check, the customs of theGeneva airport discovered a small amount of coca powder in a wooden bottle in the woman’s backpack, the OFDF said in its statement. It also carried two wallets containing 4000 euros and 1500 euros. Placed in a book, these jubilant tickets were contaminated with cocaine.

The man had on him 30,000 euros wrapped in aluminum foil. This amount, which tested positive for cocaine, was hidden in the packaging of chocolate bars.
Geneva airport customs also found another quantity of banknotes on the passenger, the amount of which is estimated at 1,500 euros. The two nationals were arrested on the spot. The money and the drugs were seized, indicates the same source.
