Juarez City.- After three days of searching, “El Paso Migrante”, a sculpture by urban artist Yorch Otte, was located in a company dedicated to buying and selling metals, located in the Partido Romero neighborhood.

Yorch reported that at approximately 6:00 in the morning on Wednesday, June 28, he took out the sculpture, whose materials were donated by the Abara organization, and were at some point used by migrants to cross the border between Mexico and the United States.

He also said that since the theft, he has made various publications on social networks to try to locate the artistic piece.

It wasn’t until this morning that Edgar “Mou” Vega, Otte’s fellow artist, carried out a search on a motorcycle until he finally found the sculpture, which was tucked away in a corner of the business.

The owner of the company protected the monument because she had already found out regarding his disappearance, so she waited for the artist to arrive to deliver it to him personally.

Fortunately, “El paso Migrante” was returned to the author in its entirety, this so that it can be placed in the facilities of the Abara shelter, which is located in the city of El Paso, Texas.
