At 27, Maxime Delavallée, co-founder and CEO of CrushON, is one of the winners of the Giverny-Point in the start-up category. After a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Tsinghua University in Beijing, he continued his studies at HEC Montréal and McGill University in Canada, then at Sciences Po Paris and the University of Saint-Gall. It was in parallel with his master’s degree at Sciences Po Paris, in 2018, that Maxime Delavallée founded, with two partners, the CrushON platform, which he describes as “the B to B operations system for circular fashion”.

He devoted himself 100% to the project following his studies, “in the desire to connect professional retailers of circular fashion with major brands to help democratize this circular fashion and eliminate textile waste”, he explains. “We are a software platform that allows us to distribute these huge inventories, which are each time in unique stock, through several distribution channels, whether for example at Galeries Lafayette in physical, at Galeries Lafayette online, or soon on La Redoute”, he highlights. CrushON thus supports “this interconnection between the historical players, who master all these operational and logistical logics of circular fashion, and these large distributors, who master all the logics of distribution to the general public”.
In 2022, Maxime Delavallée becomes president of the Circular Fashion Federation, “a large organization whose mission is to bring together, represent and enable the development of all organizations that are committed to circularity in fashion”. This brings together 200 organisations, “both large groups and innovative companies and independent players”. “We are pushing issues with public authorities, members of government and their cabinets, elected officials, administrations, to advance the subject of circularity in fashion and allow the entire industry to move towards more sustainable horizons. and more viable,” says the entrepreneur.
