Venezuelan Women’s Soccer Team Shines in Impressive Victory at Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023

The Venezuelan women’s soccer team achieved an impressive victory in its debut once morest the national team of Costa Rica 4-0 at the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.

The warriors dominated the game from the first minute of play with total control of the ball that was reflected in the first goal of the match in minute 18. The goal came thanks to an individual play by Marianyela Jiménez.

Just a few minutes later, Ysaura Viso would join Vinotinto’s goal party with a powerful shot that allowed her to make it 2-0 in the 21st minute.

The game took a course of no return thanks to Captain Deyna Castellanos, who excelled with a kick from outside the area at minute 25 to take advantage of the fact that the rival goalkeeper was ahead and score the goal.

Ysaura Viso established herself as the great protagonist of the first half by getting her second goal of the match and the fourth for Venezuela at minute 30. The result allowed the team to go comfortably at halftime.

For the second half, Venezuela diminished a bit the impressive offensive that it registered in the first half thanks to the great advantage they had, so they were in charge of keeping the ball and controlling the match.

This dominance allowed Vinotinto to keep the Costa Rican team without major opportunities and thus they were awarded the victory.
