Once the first black model to be on the cover of Vogue, Campbell continues to champion diversity in fashion. In the recent post, Campbell shares a picture of a baby being held by a woman; one hand of the baby is held by both the woman and another child’s hand. Campbell writes: “My little darling, know that you are honored beyond all measure and are surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God – blessed!”

The baby news comes as a bit of a surprise to fans and observers: at the annual Met benefit gala in New York in early May and at the Cannes Film Festival a little later, the supermodel showed no signs of pregnancy in photos. Online channels have suggested that Campbell had her second child carried by a surrogate mother. She has not yet made a statement on this.
