King Charles III staff confirmed
King Charles III’s senior financial adviser. (74), Michael Stevens, has publicly commented on moving out of Frogmore Cottage: “We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left Frogmore Cottage,” he explains.
Michael Stevens continues: “We will not go into detail here, just saying that, as previously mentioned, the Duke and Duchess have paid for expenses related to the refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage through the Sovereign Grant, so that the Crown has a greatly improved asset.”
The Sovereign Grant is a fund of government money for the monarchy.
Who’s moving into the cottage now?
Frogmore Cottage was bought by Queen Victoria in the 19th century. The property is owned by the Occupied Royal Palaces. These royal buildings are funded by British taxpayers.
A royal adviser says it’s still unclear who will move in following Harry and Meghan.
Rumor has it that King Charles III. wanted to quarter his brother Prince Andrew there. Prince Andrew has fallen out of favor since the Epstein affair and is currently residing at the 7-bedroom Royal Lodge. King Charles III wanted to convince him to move into Frogmore Cottage. So far, however, in vain.
