Wake Forest.- Fantasy Lake Adventure Park is the name of this new water park located in Wake Forest, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wibit is the name of the main attraction. It is a platform made up of huge inflatables of different shapes that float in the water, challenging the dexterity of those who visit it.
To participate in this aquatic activity, children must be at least 6 years old. If you do not have the required age, you will not be able to enter the Wibit.
The inauguration of this theme park was held on May 26, however due to the weather, the park did not have the expected influx from the aquatic complex.
Daniel Cox, who owns the place, told Qué Pasa that all people are welcome at the park, adding that they do not require identification to enter.
“We are here for the entire community to come, have fun and enjoy the attractions we offer. This is for anyone looking for fun,” Cox said.
In addition, Daniel mentioned that security is the most important priority within the establishment, so there will be patrolling and lifeguards.
“The lifeguard crew is certified for this task and we have emergency action plans in place in case something happens,” Cox explained.
The owner of the place indicated that no person will be able to carry out aquatic activities without first having put on a life jacket.
“Although the depth of the water is 40 feet, we are in a safe place because there are no currents that might cause greater danger,” added Daniel.
Additionally, the park also has aquabañas which are floating cabins that people can rent, as well as lounge chairs to enjoy the beach.
Other activities within the park include kayaking and paddle boarding.
According to Cox, each activity has an additional cost, so it is necessary to register in the website and choose the activities that you want to do.
“The entry of alcoholic beverages is not allowed. We want families to come and enjoy themselves in a healthy way,” Cox explained.
The park has a picnic area where people can enjoy their food.
Cox commented that soon there will be food trucks and live music groups so that at the same time people can enjoy the weather with food and music.
“I want to let you know that the Hispanic community is welcome. It means a lot to me because they are part of this project,” Daniel said.
“Without them I would not have what I have because they are the heartbeat of our company,” added Cox, noting that inside the park there are people who speak Spanish and English.
Such is the case of Vicente Guerrero, originally from the Mexican state of Guanajuato. He is part of the park team to whom Daniel entrusts the interpretation between both languages.
Vicente was responsible for giving Qué Pasa a tour of the facilities. He commented that the park has various playgrounds and even a ramp for diving.
The entire park has access for people with disabilities, including access ramps to the beach and access to bathrooms with showers.
The main parking lot has a capacity for one hundred cars but it is not limited. The park has other areas where people can park their vehicles.

$15 per person for park access
$40 per person for Wibit access for 2 hours (park access included)
$60 per person for Wibit access for 4 hours (park access included)
$25 per person for 2-hour paddle board rental (access to the park included)
$25 per person for a 2-hour kayak rental (access to the park included)
$70 per set of chairs and umbrella for two people for 4 hours (access to the park included)
$265 for aquabaña rental with capacity for 8 people for 4 hours (access to the park included)
