On the other hand, the Forum had a series of panels made up of specialists from the development sector and various authorities. One of them was headed by Pablo De Chiara, Minister of Science and Technology of the Province of Córdoba, who highlighted the importance of having tools to promote technology education.
“If we want a province that develops in the knowledge economy, we have to strengthen the new generations so that they study technological careers. That is why we have to do a great job with the private sector and the academic sector,” said the official.
Along the same lines, he maintained: “We are not going to be able to develop an innovation ecosystem if we do not have talent. Without talent there is no innovation”. At the same time, he emphasized the need to have an infrastructure capable of generating these talents.
On the other hand, he explained that the public sector must work “close to the industries” to meet their needs in terms of technological innovation. “Innovation is structurally tied to demand. Demand is produced by society, which is why it is important that there is a table where we talk regarding innovation and all the sectors involved are there”, he said.
“If there is no cross communication, we will not be able to grow in an economy that does not give up, that does not give second chances,” he said.
Speaking on the same panel were Rubén Frattini, founder of PIRElabs; Diego Cotsifis, vice president of the Bim Córdoba cluster, and Lucas Funes, digital transformation manager at Grupo Proaco.
Trends and financing
The conference also included the participation of the architect and president of the Business Chamber of Urban Developers (Cedu), Damián Tabkman, who addressed the current situation of developmentalism and the various trends that occur today.
Along the same lines, Alejandro Hodrowa, president of the Professional Association of Real Estate Agents (CPI), and Lucas Bergo, president of the Chamber of Real Estate Brokers of Córdoba (Cacic) presented themselves. The executives addressed various axes such as the effect of the rental law on the supply and demand of real estate, and the growth of mortgage loans.
“You have to make changes to the rental law. In the terms, it is necessary to return to 24 months and have the possibility that the prices are adjusted with the agreement of the parties”, said Hodrowa.
Regarding the loans, they stated that they have a positive impact on the city and that as a result of the Bancor Rate 0 loan, more inquiries were presented and more transactions were completed. “The residential segment grew 71% in January, compared to the same period in 2022,” they added.
