Among all the models presented on the Russian market, the UAZ Loaf stands out strongly. This car combines a number of features that are not found in any car: it has not changed for more than half a century, is relatively cheap, has a very simple design and is characterized by high traffic. And if all these characteristics can be called the advantage of the Loaf, then the lack of modernization makes the model unattractive for purchase.
Therefore, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant should update this car in the near future. The domestic designer showed a minivan in the renders, which reveals the possible appearance of the new UAZ “Loaf” NG 2024. This model is highly likely to be partially redesigned. That is, it will survive the modernization, designed only to “refresh” it. This option for UAZ is the most optimal, as it allows you to modify the car without large financial costs.
That is, we can expect that the future “Loaf” will visually resemble its current version. At the same time, the interior should undergo more pronounced changes. The fact is that the interior space of the current minivan does not seem to have changed since the 1960s. The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant did not even remove the wires that protrude under the front panel. Therefore, it can be expected that, as part of the modernization, the internal space will at least be brought to the level of the UAZ Patriot. This means that the interior of the future “Loaf” will be trimmed with inexpensive plastic. It is possible that air conditioning and an audio system will appear inside. It is also possible that UAZ will introduce a multimedia complex into the Loaf. In addition, more comfortable seats are expected.
The described changes also do not require large financial investments. All equipment and materials that UAZ can use in the new Loaf are already used by the company on the aforementioned Patriot. Moreover, such an approach to the development of a minivan will bring certain positive results. The fact is that with an increase in the consumption of materials, which occurs with an increase in production volumes, their final cost decreases. That is, UAZ, by implementing the above project, will thereby reduce the cost of assembling the entire model range.
At the same time, the new UAZ “Loaf” NG 2024 will retain the entire technical part. Therefore, it will cost regarding the same as now.
