Silvina Luna’s health has been deteriorating since she underwent an aesthetic intervention in 2011 by the doctor Aníbal Lotocki. At that time, the model had trusted the specialist to inject biopolymers into her buttocks and this procedure produced hypercalcemia and kidney failure in her body. For this fact, Lotocki was sentenced by the Oral and Correctional Court No. 28 of the City of Buenos Aires to four years in prison (and 5 years of disqualification from practicing medicine) for the crime of serious injuries in a case that started him together Silvina with Stefy Xipolitakis, Gabriela Trenchi and Pamela Sosa.
Silvina’s situation is so delicate that she needs to undergo dialysis three times a week for four hours each time to be able to filter her blood, since her kidneys cannot do so because they have stopped working. In this state, the only solution for the model to return to a normal life is to receive a kidney transplant. Thus, this Tuesday night almost regarding the closure of LAM (America) Ángel de Brito said that the model is admitted to intensive care.
“Unfortunately, and we checked with her doctors and with the people at the Italian hospital, Silvina Luna is admitted to intensive care, she is sedated and is on a respirator. She is accompanied by her brother and the people who love her, ”said the driver.

“We don’t want to do a lot of show with this topic, just comment on it because we were calling her just these days. She came to the program a month ago to tell everything that had happened to her with her health, the treatment, the dialysis and everything she told. And finally, today she went to intensive care, ”added De Brito.
As the LAM driver said, Silvina herself told in that program what is the situation she is going through with her health. “To get on the waiting list for a transplant, I first have to defeat a bacterium that is circling my body. I have to think regarding it step by step… If I think regarding everything I have to face, a barbaric anxiety seizes me, ”she recounted at the beginning of June. And she had added: “My relatives offered to donate a kidney to me. It’s still missing and I don’t want to get ahead of myself. First I have to be on the Incucai list. One of the people who volunteered was my brother, but I still have a hard time talking regarding it. I know he is there, but it all depends on many things.”
In this way, Silvina recounted in first person her real state of health while she remains hospitalized doing the necessary treatments to stabilize the values of her body. Days later, the model uploaded a video recorded by her from the clinic room where she remains hospitalized to send an emotional message and make a very special wish.

They are going to do a pic on my arm to be able to receive the intravenous medication, they are going to replace one that came out, look at the bruise that was left there, ”the former Big Brother participant began, while showing the camera a bruise that it covered his entire left forearm, a deep violet color.
“But hey, now they are going to make me another one so that I can last a couple of months to be able to pass the medication around. Later, on this side I have another pic, which is for dialysis, which is below the armpit. Well, I wanted to say hello before entering the operating room here and wish me good luck, ”she said goodbye, throwing a kiss with her hand.
