Vienna (OTS / RK) – In September 2022, the anniversary exhibition “60 Years District Museum Penzing” was opened and the district historians who volunteered were able to look forward to a lively influx of visitors. The end of the show is near: only on Wednesday, June 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Penzing District Museum (14th, Penzinger Straße 59) can a lovingly designed retrospective of the history of this institution be viewed. 12 boards provide information regarding previous events in the museum and other events. Pictures, posters and objects are reminiscent of old times. Entry is free.
Friedrich Schandera heads the honorary museum team. Preparations are currently underway “behind the scenes” for a new exhibition following the traditional summer break. The museum will be closed from Thursday 29 June to Tuesday 5 September inclusive. Contact via email: bm1140@ Bezirksmuseum.at.
