The authors of Skyblivion have released a new video of their large-scale project, visually updating Cyrodiil from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. A modification for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is planned to be released in 2025. Our colleagues from StopGame drew attention to the video, and we will describe the most interesting of the presented video. First of all, the authors of the mod have completed work on six of the nine regions of Cyrodiil: it remains to complete the Western Forest, the Nibenay Basin and the Nibenay Valley. The map of Cyrodiil is regarding 83% complete. However, the world of Oblivion is not limited to Cyrodiil alone, and all this space needs to be filled with semantic content. In particular, determine where NPCs and animals can walk, complete all quests (half of them are already ready) and, for example, fill buildings, castles, mines, caves, etc. interior. Work on the latter is regarding 40% complete. In addition, Skyblivion will feature familiar (and updated) tracks from Oblivion, as well as 17 new tunes. At the same time, the Skyblivion team encourages caring players to help with the creation of the modification by signing up as volunteers who, for example, will create the same routes for NPCs and animals.
