So valuable in attacking animation last season, the 25-year-old Frenchman chose to play with another Super League club. He agreed with Lucerne for a three-year contract. He will wear number 11.
“The whole club wanted to thank him for his goals and his contribution to the historic rise of the club”, can we read on the SLO Twitter account. And for good reason: Teddy Okou during the 2022-2023 season, it is no less than 19 goals scored and eight assists in 32 league matches. The winger who joined the club in January 2022 finished as Challenge League top scorer.

Stade Lausanne Ouchy does not record only departures by far. Several players have arrived since the start of the summer transfer window. The Stadistes have already signed Maxence Renoud (from Lyon La Duchère), Mischa Eberhard (Young Boys) and Valon Hamdiu (Schaffhausen).
But that’s not all. Super League’s “Petit Poucet” announced the arrival of Sahmkou Camara on Monday. The 20-year-old central defender played in National 2 – in the French fourth division – with FC Pays de Grasse. And if the recruiting unit is as sharp as when it recruited a certain Teddy Okou, SLO supporters have reason to rejoice.
