Fiat stops making gray cars from June

Fiat has announced that it will remove gray from its range from June 2023, although it is popular. According to Italian manufacturers, only bright colors suit their cars.

Next week, the premiere of the Fiat 600e electric crossover will take place, it has already appeared in a commercial, but the main thing in this video is not the car, but the fact that Fiat decided to make a loud statement. Like, this is the first automaker to make such a revolutionary decision – to exclude gray from its palette. Since June, the production of cars of this color has been stopped.

The hero of the video claims that the gray color is a favorite among Japanese, French, German automakers – such cars are easily sold (in the video we see a number of cars in silver-gray shades that have really become widespread). But Fiat decides that this is not good for Italy. “Italy is joy, optimism, love, passion, life itself… And what does gray have to do with it? Nothing!”

Next, a gray Fiat 600e is defiantly dipped into a large barrel of orange paint. The slogan of this action: “Italy is a country of colors. Fiat is a paint brand.”

The premiere of the Fiat 600e crossover is scheduled for July 4. This is a compact crossover with a length of regarding 4.1 m, in fact, it replaces the Fiat 500X. Technically, the novelty is related to the Jeep Avenger, Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka and DS 3 (all built on the French CMP platform), but the Fiat features are the traditional retro design in the style of the Fiat 500 models.

In addition to the electric modification – Fiat 600e – petrol versions are also expected.
