300 mares from all over Bavaria came together in Munich-Riem last weekend to select their best. The V-blood once once more set accents.
Royal Angel, a daughter of Viva Gold, was the Bavarian Warmblood Champion Mare. This Vivaldi son out of Weiheronce by For Romance-Weihegold OLD caused a stir with his sons at several German licensing sites. At the DSP main licensing in 2023, he presented the champion stallion and the most expensive auction candidate. So now the winning mare. Royal Angel’s dam Rubina’s Highlight is an Ampere-Rotspon-Weltmeyer-daughter from a Hanoverian dam line. Andreas Meyer is responsible for breeding. The owner of the new champion mare is Carolin Hornig from Plech.
Bachelorette K v. For Romance-Rohdiamant-Bolero bred and owned by Petra and Robert Knott in Vohburg.
As the second reserve champion, Roma v. Bohemian Goldberg Rousseau Square. Birgit Lieber from Krumbach-Hohenraunau is a breeder, Bettina Mattusch from Eberfing is the owner.
Nochmal V
The blood of Vivaldi, but here only in the fourth generation, also flows in the veins of the movement winner mare named Wild-Virginia. She is a daughter of Isabell Werths Valdiviani out of a Sir Donnerhall-Fidermark dam, bred and owned by Katja and Johann Schmid in Goldach.
The best jumping mare of the 2020 crop in Bavaria was Descara by Cador-Cassilano-Quattro B chosen. Georg Willkommer from Törwang is responsible here as breeder and owner. Reserve champion with jumping pedigree was L’Alouette by. Baggio-Coupie-Lamoureux II, which also still belongs to her breeder, in this case Dr. Dirk Haarmann from Seeshaupt.
