Vienna (OTS) – The Viennese FPÖ chief City Councilor Dominik Nepp and the chairman of the Vienna Free Economy Ronald Walter demand extensive personnel consequences following the financial scandal surrounding the Social Democratic Business Association (SWV) and the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. For example, 234,000 euros were paid out to the SWV in 2021 and 2022 without the approval of the committees, although there is still no proof of use to this day. While the Viennese SWV boss Marcus Arige speaks of company visits during the corona pandemic, the black Chamber of Commerce President Ruck explains the payments with an additional cost of materials. “Nobody seriously believes that a quarter of a million euros was used for company visits during the Corona period. There is a suspicion that this is a scandalous red-black tussle between Arige and Ruck – and that with the money of the Viennese business people,” criticize Nepp and Walter.
The FPÖ and the Free Economy are examining a complaint once morest Ruck and Arige so that this dubious deal is fully clarified. “If the black president and his red deputy think they can cover up this scandal and sit it out, then they were wrong,” emphasize Nepp and Walter.
