Japanese studio Cygames unveils Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash.

A real phenomenon in Japan, the horse racing simulation Umamusume: Pretty Derby from Cygames has generated more than two billion dollars in just over two years of activity on iOS and Android. While the third season of the anime series adaptation is due to arrive later this year, a festive action game starring the famous athletes who inherit the name and soul of the great racehorses that marked the story has been announced for consoles and PC, in addition to aiming for a global launch.

Playable up to four locally and online, Umamusume : Pretty Derby – Party Dash will offer players to participate in the new Tracen Academy Fan Fest attraction. On their way to success, they will have to choose an Umamusume (uma: horse / musume: girl) from a host of stars to embody in order to complete four events:

Hurtling Hurdles: A sprawling obstacle course that runs through the academy, shops, and even homes. Players jump, climb and fly over piles of obstacles planted along the track to battle for first placeBlazing Baskets: On this court, everyone is a rival and dirty tricks are a must. Obstacles and objects jostle the terrain, and players must adapt to their surroundings, and fast Dodgeball Demolition: In this dodgeball battle royale, the only winner is the last one standing. To survive, players will need to perform hard-hitting Gourmet Gauntlet: A gluttonous run that favors the duo with the fastest feet and the biggest stomachs. Players will have to choose between serving dishes at lightning speed and gobbling them down like there’s no tomorrow.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash will be released in 2024 on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
