In the midst of waiting for the final results of the elections this Sunday, representatives of the Electoral Justice gave a press conference together with Ocasa, the company that is in charge of the logistics and transmission of the results of the tally sheets.
This occurs following it became known that in some schools in Córdoba there were connectivity problems for the data to be transmitted with the new Touring system.
After this, Vidal had explained that there may be delays. Then, Ocasa issued a statement to “provide peace of mind” and explain what the “contingency plan” is like in relation to the transmission of the minutes.
Finally, at 11:00 p.m. this Sunday, the parties held a joint press conference where they assured that the results are “within reasonable terms.”
Consulted by the media regarding the difficulties denounced by some schools, representatives of the Electoral Justice assured that from the beginning it had been announced that “there might be some contingencies”, but that they had “a way to solve them”.
On the other hand, they talked regarding the period in which the results are known. “We are within reasonable time limits, it is 11:00 p.m. and we already have 80% of the polling stations scrutinized,” said Leonardo González Zamar, representative of the Electoral Justice.
“The provisional count has been carried out normally and, above all, with all certainty, for all the party prosecutors who have had a certified copy of the result of each of the tables from minute zero,” explained González Zamar.
“Then that copy of the tally sheet has been transmitted and has been made available so that we can see it. For this time we already have 80% means that we are at a very good level of provisional scrutiny, ”she deepened.
Regarding the Turing system, he explained: “It is a new system that we are implementing in Córdoba. It has been a challenge that the Court and the Judiciary assumed and we are very pleased to have opted for this new system that has given greater agility and greater transparency.”
