Belgian Weekend Weather Forecast: Cooler Temperatures and Possible Rain Spells

2023-06-25 18:00:00

Hello Raphaël, indeed we should experience a typical Belgian week with a few attenuated fronts, a westerly flow and a drop in temperatures towards seasonal values. The first part of the week will be generally dry before perhaps the arrival of a more active disturbance on Thursday evening, still lingering on Friday morning. The weekend is badly apprehended but it will not necessarily be catastrophic with temperatures of 21 to 24°C in the shade depending on the disturbances. A rainy spell that isn’t too bad is possible on Saturday and Sunday looks drier, it’s not yet set in stone since a slight shift in the anticyclone might leave us dry. Still to refine but for me not so bad.

And on the rest of the country this weekend?

We will therefore find this cooler weather behind this inactive cold front. In the morning, we will be entitled to a bright sky with a few fields of clouds, especially in the north and Liège distilling a drop near the Netherlands. Elsewhere, large clearings or even sunshine before the formation of cumulus clouds without consequences. The weather will be fine at sea and the cumulus clouds will be absent with only a few sails.

In the followingnoon, generous sun at the sea and cumulation without consequences on the center of the country. A sky therefore quite changeable but beautiful moments of sunshine especially in the south of the country while it will perhaps be a little cloudier from Liège to Limburg. The maxima will be much more breathable with 20-21°C on the beach or the summits and 22 to 24°C on the plain under a moderate westerly wind. In the evening, always these veils of cirrus without gravity.
