The value of Turkish exports last May amounted to 21 billion and 659 million dollars, recording an increase of 14.4 percent compared to the same month of last year 2022.
According to the data of the Turkish Statistics Authority, which was released on Friday, imports increased by 15.5 percent, to reach 34 billion and 186 million dollars.
The size of the foreign trade deficit in May amounted to 12 billion and 527 million dollars.
The volume of Turkish exports in the first five months of this year amounted to 102 billion and 467 million dollars, and imports amounted to 158 billion and 498 million dollars. (Anatolia)
