Akasha Air is an airline that has gained popularity very quickly even though it has been a while since we heard of Akasha Air. Now they have come up with a new announcement. It has said it will acquire four more Boeing 737 Max aircraft and announce a triple-digit aircraft order later this year for further expansion.

The company’s announcement was made at the ongoing Paris Air Show. Akasha Air has become the first airline in the 120-year history of global aviation to achieve a fleet size of 19 aircraft in a single year. The airline, which started flying in August last year, has 19 aircraft and the 20th aircraft is expected to enter service in July.

The company expects to grow to 72 aircraft by 2027. The company is trying to provide service to countries like Southeast Asia, Middle East, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Discussions with all countries and governments are also progressing.

IndiGo is also in the process of acquiring aircraft. IndiGo aims to purchase 1330 aircraft in the A320 segment in 10 years. Before this it was Air India that bought such a bulk. Indigo has now surpassed that. Indigo is a very profitable company. Many airlines are now on the verge of bankruptcy and closure.

Lufthansa is the second largest airline in Europe. Lufthansa has Pratt & Whitney engines. Go First Airlines had canceled its flights due to severe financial crisis. It also has Pratt and Whitney engines. The flights were canceled due to engine failure. Lufthansa is facing the same problem. Lufthansa canceled more than a third of its flights.

Lufthansa had accused American company Pratt & Whitney of a mistake in the manufacture of International Aero Engine. Pratt & Whitney is a company that specializes in manufacturing and servicing aircraft engines. GoFirst and IndiGo are two Indian airlines that use Pratt and Whitney engines. Both the airlines are reported to have problems.

A mistake made by Pratt & Whitney in the supply of engines led Go First to a financial crisis. As a result, the Go First paper petition was filed last day. This forced the airline to ground more than half of its flights. 28 out of 61 flights of Go First Airlines have been grounded. 25 of them have engine failure.

In December 2019, seven percent of the engines supplied by Pratt & Whitney failed. By December 2022, it will rise to 50 percent. The company had breached all assurances of timely delivery of the new engine. Two airlines had to cancel flights at the same time due to the same problem.
