Why do mosquitoes bite some people?

Some people are more attractive to mosquitoes despite themselves. Blood type, the amount of oxygen released by the body and diet are all reasons that can attract more female critters that need blood to feed their eggs.

We discussed it with André-Philippe Drapeau Picard, entomological information officer at the Montreal Insectarium.
