Al-Nashra contacted Representative Waddah Sadek following meeting with a number of change-making representatives, the French delegate, Jean-Yves Le Drian, inquiring regarding the atmosphere of the meeting, and he said: It is unfortunate that Lebanon is abandoned internationally and is not on the agenda of any of the decision-makers in the world, and Le Drian assured us that following the feeling of the French president Emmanuel Macron said that the world is not interested in Lebanon and its crises, and even that it is not on the agenda of many active and influential countries. He decided not to leave Lebanon in its crises and to work hard to help him get out of them, the first of which is the election of the President of the Republic.

Sadiq said in response to a question: Of course, Le Drian’s presence in Lebanon today is not in order to support a candidate, and it seems that France abandoned the initiative it was taking and it did not succeed (Suleiman Franjieh-Nawaf Salam), but rather with the aim of exploring all opinions in order to find the real way out. Lebanon is one of its crises, the first of which is the election of the future president. France today is happy with the change-making deputies who arrived at the parliamentary assembly from the womb of the revolution, and it is counting on us a lot to achieve the required change to save Lebanon from the economic, living and political hell it is in today. France is concerned regarding the future of Lebanon and is striving to break the barrier that affects the non-election of the President of the Republic. Of course, France is betting on the importance of change, through the entry of 12 deputies into the parliament, and on reform, which is essential for the resurrection of Lebanon and its revival as a prosperous and stable country.
