Important to note:
Can I bring or consume alcohol in Brooklyn Bridge Park or in the New York and Brooklyn parks?
Alcohol is not allowed in any park in New York or Brooklyn.
Alcohol is available for purchase at some park concessions,
but it must be consumed within those concession locations.
You also won’t be able to bring alcohol to the free movie screenings at the Intrepid Museum.
Mosquitoes in New York parks?
My advice is to put on some mosquito repellent, keep in mind that there is green around and it is summer, and for mosquitoes we are a feast.
What to bring to the impromptu picnic?
In New York with the good temperatures, you will always want to be able to lie down on a grass meadow, you can take a kind of thin blanket or some fouta (pareo towel). Solar protection. Mosquito repellent (remember we are in summer). Bag to throw away the garbage (and always then to the trash according to recycling). Reusable water bottle.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yeah! There are plenty of places to eat and drink close to all locations. Before you go you can explore all the nearby restaurants, cafes and bars.
What are the schedules for the ferry and the subway in New York?
My advice is to download the New York Subway app and the NYC Ferry app.
Enjoy summer nights in New York new york lovers!!!
