Al-Hilal club renewed the opening of the Saudi negotiation line with Portuguese Paulo Fonseca, coach of the first French football team, Lille, to assign him the task of leading his football team during the coming period, according to what private sources revealed to Al-Riyadiah.
The same sources confirmed that the coach gave a positive indication to accept the Hilal offer presented to him, and the negotiator granted preliminary approval, conditional on the French club Lille not objecting to his departure in light of his association with him with a contract extending until June 2024, leaving the door wide open to complete the contract between the two parties.
Al-Riyadiah had published news regarding Al-Nasr club, Al-Hilal’s traditional rival, entering negotiations with Fonseca, which stopped at the negotiator’s refusal of the Portuguese coach’s demands, following he stipulated that he obtain 20 million dollars, including the termination of his contract with the French club.
On the same level, Al-Hilal club retained its negotiating papers with Italian Massimiliano Allegri, coach of Juventus and Spaniard Julien Lopetegui, following the apology of the Portuguese Sergio Conceicao and Marco Silva, who are linked to two training contracts with Porto, Portugal, and Fulham, England, until 2024, according to what was published by Al-Riyadiah, quoting private sources.
The Al-Hilal team is looking forward to settling the technical staff’s file to start preparations for the new sports season, which will start on Sunday, in addition to completing contracts with foreign professionals and local elements supporting the team’s list during the coming period, following the end of the Argentine Ramon Diaz’s mission, the former coach.
