(CNN) An Orlando, Florida, police officer who was driving over the speed limit in Florida was asked to show his driver’s license following being chased by a sheriff’s deputy who ordered him to stop. There was a recent incident of ignoring and arbitrarily leaving.

The officer was later arrested on charges including reckless driving, fleeing from a deputy sheriff on duty and resisting to perform his duties.

According to police’s arrest report, the suspect drove a car marked with letters indicating a police vehicle at regarding 129 kilometers per hour on a road with a speed limit of regarding 72 kilometers per hour.

“What are you doing? I’m on my way to work. Why are you stopping me? What does this mean?”

A Seminole County sheriff’s deputy countered that he was speeding. He had contacted the authorities with the vehicle number of the police officer who had run away and asked them to take action.

The officer was relieved of duty pending an internal investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Orlando Police Department. Police say they have not pleaded guilty.
