The Asian Football Confederation has officially set the dates for the preliminary round matches for the AFC Champions League for clubs and the AFC Cup 2023-2024, as Sharjah Club will host its counterpart, the Bangladeshi Bachundara Kings, and the winner of them will qualify to meet the Iranian Tractor team on the 22nd of the same month. Sharjah Club said on its official page via Twitter that the first team will host the Bashundara team from Bangladesh on August 15, as part of the preliminary round match that qualifies to meet the Iranian Tractor team in the knockout round to reach the group stage of the AFC Champions League.
It is noteworthy that Sharjah won the President’s Cup last season, in addition to winning the UAE Super Cup and the Professional League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup).
