2022-12-13 08:00:00

Now the hot phase of the season begins!

Week 15 of the NFL regular season is upon us. With just a few weeks to go before the start of the playoffs, now is the perfect time to see how the 32 NFL teams stack up.

Platz 32: Houston Texans

For the Houston Texans, many games this year would go better if the team just stayed in the locker room. With a record of 1-11-1, the franchise can look forward to its first draft pick of 2023.

Platz 31: Denver Broncos

Even if the Broncos defense tries, its own offensive is simply too weak to keep up at the moment

Platz 30: Chicago Bears

Chicago quarterback Justin Fields is one of the few bright spots on a very weak Bears team

Platz 29: Indianapolis Colts

It is already clear: Jeff Saturday is not the Indianapolis Colts’ long-term head coach solution

28th place: LA Rams

The LA Rams season is almost over. With quarterback newcomer Baker Mayfield (right), the offensive seems a bit livelier once more

Platz 27: Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals’ playoff dreams have been shattered following star quarterback Kyler Murray’s injury. A lot will probably change in Glendale in the offseason

Platz 26: New Orleans Saints

Losing to Tampa Bay in Week 13 pushed the New Orleans Saints to last place in the NFC South

Platz 25: Pittsburgh Steelers

Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett was injured once morest the Ravens. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ season finale won’t be any easier without him

Platz 24: Atlanta Falcons

After Bye Week in week 14, the Desmond Ridder era begins in Atlanta. Can the rookie quarterback breathe new life into the Falcons offense?

Platz 23: Cleveland Browns

Deshaun Watson is back in the NFL. Browns fans won’t be able to look forward to much more this year

Platz 22: Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders just can’t play at a consistently high level. But at least wide receiver Davante Adams (right) is having an incredible season

Platz 21: Green Bay Packers

Four games, 300+ receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Rookie receiver Christian Watson is currently the full Packers offensive

Platz 20: Carolina Panthers

With Sam Darnold as quarterback, the Carolina Panthers look like a real NFL team. Even the division title and playoff participation are still possible

Platz 19: Jacksonville Jaguars

Wow! There’s no other way to describe the Jaguars’ win over the Tennessee Titans. Can Jacksonville still make a playoff run in the season finale?

Platz 18: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Despite the poor record of 6-7, the Buccaneers lead their division. For Tom Brady & Co. it might still be enough for the playoffs

Platz 17: New York Giants

The Giants’ first half of the season was great. But now the team just hobbles from one bad performance to the next

Platz 16: New England Patriots

The Patriots are still in the AFC playoff race. Against stronger opponents, however, the team still has to improve offensively

15th place: New York Jets

With Mike White as quarterback, the Jets are a completely different football team. Now the only question that remains is how much his rib injury will affect him in the coming weeks

Platz 14: Detroit Lions

It sounds crazy but the Detroit Lions have a real top offense. If their own defense wasn’t so terribly bad, this season might really work

Platz 13: Washington Commanders

Quarterback Taylor Heinicke’s Washington Commanders are now four games unbeaten. Can the team keep up this streak following Bye Week?

12th place: LA Chargers

The second team from LA is currently playing well below its potential. If a few more injured stars return, the Chargers will soon be more than just a playoff contender

Platz 11: Tennessee Titans

Curious: the Tennessee Titans fired their general manager Jon Robinson in the middle of the season. In the race for the playoffs, the team around star running back Derrick Henry is still at the forefront

Platz 10: Seattle Seahawks

For the Seahawks and potential Comeback Player of the Year Geno Smith, the season is now getting hot. In the next few weeks, Seattle has a few real chunks in front of its chest

Platz 9: Baltimore Ravens

As leaders of the AFC North, the Ravens are currently in the playoffs. With the injuries of star quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, that might soon change

Platz 8: Minnesota Vikings

One of the worst defenses in the league is currently being held together by Justin Jefferson (right) and Kirk Cousins. With a strong 10-3 record, the Minnesota Vikings are in serious trouble

Platz 7: Miami Dolphins

Even though the Dolphins lost to the Chargers, one thing is clear: With players like Tyreek Hill, Miami has one of the best offenses in the entire NFL

Platz 6: San Francisco 49ers

As the last draft pick of 2022 (“Mr. Irrelevant”), Brock Purdy now leads the offensive of the San Francisco 49ers. So far, the 22-year-old has passed his two NFL appearances with flying colors

Platz 5: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are on a roll! With a five-win streak behind them, Cincinnati is marching toward the playoffs. Not even Derrick Henry, Pat Mahomes or Nick Chubb can embarrass the Bengals right now

Photo: Aaron Doster/AP

Platz 4: Buffalo Bills

Although they’re ahead in the race for the number one seed, the Bills offensive just isn’t playing convincingly lately. Will Buffalo still fail to win the AFC in the season finale?

Photo: Adrian Kraus/AP

Platz 3: Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are just a very good football team. A real top defense and a dynamic offensive are not enough for Dallas to win the division in the NFC East

Foto: TOM PENNINGTON/Getty Images via AFP

Platz 2: Kansas City Chiefs

With Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have perhaps the best offense in the NFL. No matter how tough and difficult the games get, Kansas City can always win with Mahomes as quarterback

Platz 1: Philadelphia Eagles

Eagles playmaker Jalen Hurts (left) is definitely a possible MVP candidate. After all, Hurts leads the most dominant team in the NFL. The old adage “the sky is the limit” really applies to the Philadelphia Eagles this season.
