Brightline High-Speed Train: Connecting Miami to Orlando and South Florida Towns

MIAMI.- The Brightline high-speed train announces that it has completed the construction of the station in OrlandoFlorida, which will link the Florida city with Miami and other towns in the south of the state.

Mayors from municipalities along the railroad met with members of the construction team to learn the ins and outs of the expected mode of transportation and the economic impact it would have on Florida.

Private rail company Brightline’s expansion to Orlando, some 170 miles from West Palm Beach, began in June 2019, a year following operations began between Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Meanwhile, two additional stations were inaugurated, one in Boca Raton and one in Aventura, in 2022.

According to the statement, the Brightline project added more than 10,000 jobs and some $6.4 billion to the state’s economy during construction.

Meanwhile, Brightline continues to run high-speed tests, between West Palm Beach and Orlando, reaching 110 miles per hour, regarding 177 kilometers per hour, through rural Brevard County.

In fact, tickets to travel to Orlando are already on sale.

The company portal announces that reservations can be made for trips from September 1.

Brightline plans to run 16 daily trips between Miami and Orlando, with stops in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura.

The regular one-way fare, for economy class, which they call SMART, is $79 for adults and $39 for children.

SMART service includes complimentary WiFi, multiple power and USB outlets, and a variety of food and beverages available for purchase.

One-way PREMIUM fares start at $149 and include private PREMIUM lounge service, priority boarding, checked baggage, and complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the trip.
