FPÖ demands cheap and fair electricity prices for all Carinthians and an immediate stop to price increases
Klagenfurt (OTS) – The Carinthian FPÖ boss, club chairman Erwin Angerer, is pleased regarding the lawsuit brought by AK Kärnten once morest Kelag because of the planned doubling of the electricity price. “At least the Chamber of Labor with President Günther Goach is already in line with the Freedom Party. I am pleased that with the Chamber of Labor we have an important comrade-in-arms in the fight once morest the planned electricity price rip-off by the Kelag board members. Gaby Schaunig. “The SPÖ is responsible for consumer protection in the state government, but can’t get anything done. During the discussion regarding the basic electricity supply last autumn, Schaunig sided with the energy companies instead of the citizens. It is not compatible that Schaunig is in league with the energy companies – as she proved once more yesterday in the state parliament – and at the same time is a consumer protection officer,” said Angerer. “SPÖ and ÖVP should cancel the consumer protection department right away because they don’t do anything for Carinthian consumers anyway!” Angerer demands.
“The question arises as to when the Chamber of Commerce will finally wake up following the Chamber of Labour, because tens of thousands of entrepreneurs are groaning under the high energy prices. You can’t expect any support from the ÖVP! The hand of the FPÖ remains extended. Anyone who wants to fight with us once morest the planned electricity price rip-off in Carinthia is very welcome,” said the FPÖ leader.
