“The changes made to the counter both technically (security and performance) and ergonomics have already borne fruit, so that the time for processing formalities has improved”, said the government on Tuesday in a press release.

He adds that until the end of the year, the formalities for modification and termination may “continue to be carried out via Infogreffe or in paper formatthese two channels having been reopened due to the impossibility or great difficulty in carrying out certain procedures on the site managed by the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Inpi).

Many misfires

More than 700,000 formalities were filed on the one-stop shop since January 1, including 630,000 creations, 60,000 account deposits, 30,000 cessations of activity and 4,000 modifications of natural persons, according to the press release.

As provided for by the Pacte law of 2019, the electronic one-stop shop had opened on January 1, 2023, but its many failures have been denounced by professionals who carry out procedures on behalf of companies, such as chartered accountants and auditors.

For its part, the National Institute of Statistics (Insee) still reported last month that the establishment of this counter since Januarytemporarily weakens the monthly monitoring of business creations and that his figures on the subject should therefore be interpreted “with great caution”.

The registration of business creations was however the approach that worked the fastest on the platform, supposed to simplify life for businesses.
