Dubai International Airport, the busiest international airport in the world, is expected to witness a significant increase in the number of passengers through all terminals in the coming weeks, coinciding with the six-day Eid Al-Adha holiday, which begins this weekend.
According to Dubai Airports, Dubai International Airport is expected to receive regarding 3.5 million passengers during the period from June 20 to July 3 (14 days), with an average daily traffic of 252,000 passengers.
It is expected that the increase in the number of departures will reach more than a quarter of a million passengers during the period from June 23 to June 25, including 100 thousand passengers on Saturday, corresponding to June 24 alone. The second of July is expected to be the busiest day, coinciding with the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, when total daily traffic is expected to exceed 305,000 passengers.

For its part, Emirates Airlines expects the peak in travel traffic to continue in the coming weeks, and called on travelers to allocate sufficient time to reach the airport and complete their travel procedures. She explained that the number of departing passengers will reach its peak, especially before Eid Al-Adha (starting from June 24) corresponding to next Saturday, as well as starting from the first of July.
According to the reservations, Emirates Airlines expects more than 80,000 passengers to leave on busy days, and advises passengers to arrive at the airport three hours before the flight time, and pay attention to their boarding time, to ensure that they arrive at the departure gate on time.
