CorWave is stepping up a gear. In the midst of the industrialization phase of its next-generation heart pumps, the Ile-de-France medtech company announced on Tuesday June 20 the finalization of a series C funding round, worth a total of 61 million euros. Started in 2021, the fundraising is supplemented by a new contribution of 26 million from Bpifrance’s SPI industrial fund, up to 15 million, and an envelope of 11 million largely from two industrialists: Exor Ventures, controlled by the Agnelli family, flagship shareholder of Stellantis in particular, and the Belgian Vlerick Group, involved for example in textiles and metallurgy. Something to delight Louis de Lillers, general manager of CorWave, who wanted to absolutely embark “in the adventure” investors with a deep understanding of the industry ».
