A new pack combining the PlayStation 5 and a 24-month premium access to Playstation Plus is regarding to be released by Sony. An announcement that has something to make more than one player salivate.

While the Playstation Plus Premium is at the heart of much debate over its value for money, Sony’s latest bundle might win over some sceptics. Sony is therefore returning to the charge with a new attractive proposal for future owners of Playstation 5 who will be able to take advantage of two years of subscription to the Playstation Plus Premium. This therefore allows privileged access to 948 games, not counting those to come for the next 24 months.
It was on Twitter that @Zuby_Tech, previously known to have anticipated the release of other Playstation 5 console offers, recently published this information. Even if the veracity of it has not yet been officially approved, Sony does not seem to skimp on the means to highlight its Playstation Plus. Last week, the Japanese brand announced that its new Cloud Streaming still in development for PS5 games would be offered to Playstation Plus Premium subscribers. Sony Entertainment Marketing Director Jim Ryan recently said that 17% of Playstation Plus users opted for the Premium version, 13% preferred the Playstation Plus Extra while the remaining 70% chose the Essential version in 2023.

Xbox and Nintendo do not intend to stop there
This new Sony strategy might therefore be the subject of a counter-attack once morest its direct competitors. Last May, the Playstation showcase had already disappointed many fans of the Japanese brand who were still hungry. In question, a lack of exclusives and novelties which prevented Sony from standing out from its competitor Xbox, for whom the last showcase is considered a success. Sure of its strengths with the presentation of the trailer for Hellblade 2, Flight Simulator 2024 or even the new Forza Motorsport, Xbox did not prevent itself from trolling its direct competitor following the festivities.
On the Nintendo side, many rumors claim that a new Nintendo Direct would be imminent. On his Twitter account, Pyoro who predicted the release of Everybody 1-2-Switch and Sonic Superstars also confirms the release of a brand new 2D Super Mario Bros as well as the remake of an unspecified Nintendo classic. No other additional information has been revealed for the moment, however fans remain on the lookout for any new presentation to come.
